This month, we are featuring Jakes (ZS1TP) from South Africa, an AirNav Radar and ShipXplorer feeder who has been contributing AIS data to ShipXplorer since May 16, 2026. He operates both an AIS station for tracking vessels and an ADS-B station for tracking aircraft, both based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Nima Darbeh is the featured ADS-B feeder for March 2025. Based in Bandar Abbas, Iran, Nima has fed valuable flight data to AirNav Radar and ShipXplorer (part of AirNav Systems) for over a year.

When Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's helicopter went missing, the Turkish defense industry rose to the occasion. Turkey deployed its cutting-edge Bayraktar Akinci drone to assist in the search and rescue operation. Millions of people tracked the mission live on our platform.
