Icelandair resumes commercial flights with the Boeing 737 MAX

This Monday (08), Icelandair, resumed its passenger flights with the Boeing 737 MAX, which had not been flying since the 2019 stoppage.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8, TF-ICN, flight ICE204 took off from Reykjavik International Airport (KEF) at 07h55 and after 02h43 minutes of flight, it landed in Copenhagen (CPH).

Before Boeing's new generation jet returned to the skies with passengers, the company conducted test flights in Reykjavik, its main hub, where aircraft maintenance checks and crew training were carried out.

Icelandair fleet 

Icelandair currently has 31 aircraft in its fleet, 5 - Boeing 737 MAX 8, 1 - Boeing 737 MAX 9, 19 - Boeing 757-200, 2 - Boeing 757-300, and 4 - Boeing 767-300.
