Boeing 737 MAX Makes First Commercial Flight in China Since Grounding

Last Monday, October 10, the Boeing 737 MAX operated by MIAT Mongolian Airlines performing flight OM235 from Ulaanbaatar (UBN / ZMCK) landed in Guangzhou (CAN / ZGGG), becoming the first flight of a Boeing 737 MAX in China since the country grounded the plane in March 2019.

According to our data, flight OM235 landed at 08:18 (CST) after flying for 3 hours and 38 minutes, 1489 nautical miles or 2757 km traveled by the 3-year-old Boeing 737 MAX.
Chinese airlines have not put the Boeing 737 MAX back into service, and Boeing said it would begin to remarket some of the planes meant for Chinese carriers. However, many airlines around the world have put the Boeing 737 MAX back into service.
