Who Is Tintin?

Tintin is one of the most famous comic book characters ever created. First introduced in 1929 by Belgian artist Hergé, Tintin is a young investigative reporter who travels the world solving mysteries and going on wild adventures.
Together with his loyal dog Snowy, Captain Haddock, and Professor Calculus, Tintin has explored everything from ancient treasures and pirate legends to space missions and hidden civilizations.
The series, known as The Adventures of Tintin, has sold over 200 million books worldwide, making it one of the most influential European comics ever created.
For Belgium, Tintin is a national cultural icon, which is why it’s such a perfect theme for Brussels Airlines’ special aircraft.
