Santa Is Airborne! Track Santa’s Christmas Journey Live on AirNav Radar

Ho-ho-ho! Santa’s sleigh has officially lifted off from Rovaniemi, in Finnish Lapland, beginning another magical journey around the world. Loaded with gifts, powered by Christmas spirit, and guided by nine legendary flying reindeer, Santa is once again delivering joy to rooftops everywhere.

This year, you can track Santa’s flight live using AirNav Radar, following his journey in real time as he travels across continents on the most anticipated flight of the year.

Where Does Santa Live?

Santa Claus calls Rovaniemi, in the heart of Finnish Lapland, his home. Surrounded by Arctic forests, snow-covered landscapes, and endless winter skies, Santa lives and works alongside his elves and reindeer year-round.

Every single day, Santa receives thousands of letters from children (and adults) from all over the globe. Behind the scenes, he spends the entire year reading wishes, organizing gifts, caring for the reindeer, and making sure everything is perfectly prepared for Christmas Eve.

Santa’s sleigh is powered by nine magical reindeer, the only earthly creatures capable of flight, thanks to the power of the Christmas spirit.

Dasher

The fastest of them all. A natural racer who once led the pack, until he proved a bit too fast for the others to keep up.

Dancer

Elegant and full of flair, Dancer lives for performance and trains hard at the Reindeer Aviation Academy alongside his twin brother.

Prancer

Majestic and stylish, Prancer is known for admiring his reflection a little too much. Fortunately, Dancer keeps him focused.

Vixen

Graceful, confident, and famously beautiful. Vixen’s flying style draws attention wherever Santa goes.

Comet

The strongest reindeer in the team. Loyal, powerful, and named after a comet seen in the sky at the moment of his birth.

Cupid

The romantic of the group. A born matchmaker who flies best when love and focus are balanced.

Donner

Meaning “thunder,” Donner is a natural leader who keeps the team disciplined, fed, and ready for long journeys.

Blitzen

Husband to Donner, Blitzen is fearless in storms and unwavering under pressure. His name means “lightning.”

Rudolph

The youngest and most famous reindeer. His glowing red nose has guided Santa through countless foggy nights since 1939.
