Romania is the first country to exempt vaccinated passengers from quarantine

Romania has released passengers who can demonstrate vaccination against COVID-19 from fulfilling the mandatory quarantine upon arrival in the country. This is the first nation in Europe to loosen pandemic protection laws based on vaccination of air transport users.

According to information released by the British portal Independent, since January 20, all travelers who received two doses of a vaccine against COVID-19 no longer need to be quarantined for two weeks after arrival. However, it is necessary that at least ten days have passed since the second dose has been administered.

Passengers who cannot provide proof of vaccination will need to complete 14 days of mandatory isolation before being able to move around the country.
