Qatar Airways reaffirmed as the airline with the largest seat offering in the world

The Sars-CoV-2 pandemic has impacted airlines all over the world, causing them to reduce their flights. The sudden drop in demand caused passenger flights, especially international flights, directly impacted.

However, despite the difficult situation for airlines, Qatar Airways was one of the airlines that reduced its operations the least during this period.

According to Qatar Airways, reiterated by an independent consultant, Qatar is the company that now offers the most seats per kilometer flown in the world.

And the two aircraft models most used by Qatar Airways are wide-body and long-range aircraft: Airbus A330-200 (7 units) and Airbus A330-300 (11 units).

Qatar Airway's A330-200 averages 4.1 flight hours, 2.9 flights daily, and 12 hours of flight time on average per day with the aircraft fleet. The A330-300 of the Qatar-based airline averages 4.4 flight hours, 2.8 flights per day, and 12.3 flight hours on average with the fleet of this type of aircraft.
