IndiGo Launches India–London Heathrow Flights with Norse Dreamliners

As part of its 19th anniversary celebrations and ambitious international expansion, IndiGo has announced a significant milestone: the launch of daily, direct flights between India and London Heathrow. Starting 26 October 2025, the new service will be operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft damp-leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, marking IndiGo’s bold entry into the long-haul market.

This move is a significant step in IndiGo’s strategic efforts to grow its global presence, particularly in Europe, and enhances connectivity between India and the UK. The new route is subject to regulatory approvals.

Strengthening the European Network

The addition of London Heathrow follows IndiGo’s earlier launch of direct flights to Manchester and Amsterdam, building on its growing European footprint. The airline has also formed interline and codeshare partnerships with Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM, and Virgin Atlantic, offering seamless connections between India, Europe, and North America.

New Business Product: IndiGoStretch

In another leap forward, IndiGo is upgrading its international product offering. Beginning 09 August 2025, passengers flying between Singapore and Delhi/Mumbai will experience IndiGoStretch—the airline’s custom-designed business class product—aboard its two-class Airbus A321 aircraft.

This premium offering will also be available on other key routes:

• Delhi–Dubai from 30 August 2025

• Mumbai–Dubai from 03 September 2025

IndiGoStretch represents a significant shift for the airline, known for its low-cost model, as it begins catering to premium travelers on high-demand international routes.
