For this month, we're excited to feature one of our newest contributors to the AirNav Radar community — SAMSON from Chennai. Having joined the network just a few weeks ago, he is already contributing valuable coverage and demonstrating the enthusiasm that drives aviation enthusiasts worldwide.
Located in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, his station sits along the Coromandel Coast on the Bay of Bengal. Chennai, historically known as Madras, is one of the largest cities in India and an important aviation hub in the southern region of the country, making it a valuable location for improving ADS-B coverage.

He installed his antenna approximately 30 feet above ground level, mounted on a GI pipe. This elevated setup helps maximize reception and ensures reliable aircraft tracking across a wide area.

Despite being new to ADS-B feeding, SAMSON took a hands-on approach and completed the installation independently.
"I learned from a few YouTube installation videos and installed it on my own."
