Eleven passengers sustained minor injuries during an unexpected turbulence incident on an Airbus A330-200 (Reg. 9H-MF) operated by Maleth Aero operating flight DB1975 traveling from Bridgetown, Barbados, to Manchester, UK. The turbulence occurred approximately two hours after takeoff, prompting the pilots to divert the plane to Bermuda on December 23.

Upon landing in Bermuda, the injured passengers received medical treatment. The 225 passengers, initially bound for Christmas celebrations in the UK, were accommodated in Bermuda due to operational constraints at the airport and limited flight availability.
P&O travel firm, responsible for the cruise-linked flight, apologized for the disruption and assured efforts to assist passengers in their journey back to Manchester.
